I'm Back!

Well, thanks to our friend whom, I should add, works MIRACLES with computers, we practically have a new computer! He was also able to save most of the pictures and files I needed. I tell you, I literally started bawling when it wouldn't turn on and he thought there was no hope of getting anything off of it. I mean, I had 5 years of pictures on this thing! Needless to say, we're very grateful for his knowledge and willingness to help us. It has also taught us to back everything up OFTEN! I suggest getting all of your computer files, pictures, music, video and whatever else you may have on your computer backed up because one day when you hit the power button and it doesn't go on, you'll be wishing you had!

This week is Red Ribbon Week. That means lots of fun activities at school and talking about substance abuse and lots of the phrase "Just say no!". We also have parent/teacher conferences this week. That means report cards to do, positives and negatives to find for each child, and HOURS spent at school.

All of this means that my many many posts I have to share will have to wait until after Thursday, then hopefully things will settle down! But you have lots to look forward to: from when my family was in town, to all the amazing things my class has been doing like fun fall arts and crafts, halloween puppets my mom and Sam did with them, to our field trip last Friday. Then there's also the hilarious sign I can't wait to post about at the end of the street, not to mention pictures of the house all ready for fall. So stay tuned... I have a lot of catching up to do!

My computer did that once and I almost died! I really thought it was the end of the world... it's amazing how much of our lives is actually recorded on a computer! I'm glad you got it working and saved your stuff... and that you're back!! :0)

Every once in a while you just have to stop and do something fun.I spent a little time updating my blog and then decided to unwind and read a little of my friends' blogs too. I want to see all the pictures so take a few minutes and post pictures!

I know the feeling about being without a computer. I use to be without a camera to show people things. Now you need to just relax and get it all together. It will happen once this week is over.
