I LOVE San Diego... we had quite the first 3 hours in the city. No one seemed in much of a hurry to help us. We waited for at least an hour at the rental car place with some very ODD people. But, we got a Dodge Caliber (which I'm trying to convince John that one of them should be our next car) which is really nice/exciting. Then we headed to Bali Hai for lunch and had a wonderful view of the harbor. We also waited there for our check for FOREVER but we had a great view! We headed to our hotel, which is actually much nicer than I expected, and it's in a great location in Mission Valley. After that we went to Sea World for an hour or so. After Sea World we went to Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego. That is quite the mall! We ended the night with some chile rellenos from El Indio (which we wanted to try from watching them made on Guy Fierre's Diners, Drive Ins and Dives TV show). It didn't live up to all the hype we had given it in our heads but it was still good. We had a really rough night with the people upstairs getting in around 3:00.
I need to go to bed, but here are the pictures from the first two days... I'll write about our trip to the zoo tomorrow. Oh yea... I took A TON of pictures ;)

It looks like you had a wonderful trip. I love the picts of the orchids. Of course they are my favorite flower. Glad you're back.
