Tuffy at 6 weeks old

We finally decided on the puppy for us. We spent a good two weeks this summer searching for the new addtion to our family. July 11th, we went to see his litter. We decided while we were there that he was the one for us. Then it was up to us to go home and decide on a name. Of course everyone had their own opinions and ideas. We had quite the list going, but John and I really liked Tuffy, so that's what we chose.

Well we will begin from when we got home until now. we've been home about 2 and a half weeks and so much has happened. Here's what it looked like on August 1st.

Well our house had nothing more accomplished until we left for Indiana on June 8th then within the first few weeks in Indiana they got a lot accomplished.... thanks to Kami, we have pictures! This thing just might turn out to be a reality!

We might have a house..... eventually

Well, after being told that a month ago we would have a foundation, and we don't even have footings yet, I'm increasingly glad that we will be gone for almost 6 weeks! Then, I won't have to constantly be reminded of how slow everything is going. I've decided that if we have a foundation by the time we get back from Indiana then we will be in good shape. I know I know keeping my expectations low. Well at least here is pictures of the trenches dug for the footings for the foundation.....

Sceptic Tank

Well there is exciting news on the home front... We have a sceptic tank whoo hoo! lol Ok... I know I know it might not seem that exciting to the rest of you but that's the first step and now it's done! Next is footings and then the foundation! Yay!!! here are some pictures of the sceptic tank, since I know it's so exciting! Plus Dana was here so that was extra exciting.
